Medium roasts are achieved by roasting at temperatures that range between 210°C and 230°C. On the darker spectrum of the medium roasts, there will be a second ‘crack’ or audible popping sound which indicates an optimal roast has been reached.
Medium roasted beans balance body and flavor. They are medium brown in color and have less caffeine than lighter roasts.
Dark roasts are achieved by roasting at temperatures that ranges between 230°C and 250°C. They usually go beyond the second crack.
Dark roasts have a fuller body and a smokier taste. They are almost black in color and contain less caffeine than medium and light roasts.
There are three main types of Coffee Grind: coarse, medium and fine, and within these there are many subcategories.
A grind will vary depending on the method of brewing.
There are different brewing methods to choose from depending on the beverage of choice. In the main, there are four brewing categories:

⦁ V60
⦁ Chemex
⦁ Cold Dripper

⦁ The Bee House Dripper
Also known as the immersion method, it consists of mixing hot water and coffee and separating wet coffee grinds from the coffee. The coffee makers that work with this method are:
⦁ French Press
⦁ Syphon Coffee
⦁ The Soft Brew
⦁ Coffee Bag
This method utilizes air pressure to brew coffee. The coffee makers that work with this method are:
⦁ Aeropress
⦁ Moka Pot
⦁ Espresso Machine
The boiling method is the oldest in the book. Water is boiled together with coffee grinds to obtain the prefect brew. Coffee is brewed in this way using:
